The AFFF spill at the Brunswick Executive Airport on 8/19/24 contained PFAS chemicals, 

but was fortunately outside of the groundwater aquifer that the District gets its drinking water from. 

To ensure the safety of the Jordan Avenue supply the District samples monthly at monitoring and 

sentry wells to make sure that PFAS does not get to its production wells. We know you must have questions.
